Dr. Samuel Adeniyi Adediran (NIYI) has accrued over two decades of livestock agriculture value chain research and development (R&D) experience, including positions at organisations and educational institutions in Africa, Australia and North America. As Assistant Director of Market Development and Access at the Global Alliance for Livestock Veterinary Medicines (GALVmed), a position which involves cross cutting interaction with public-private partners in the agricultural industry, in the last three years, Samuel is engaged in supporting the monitoring and evaluation, sustainable access and adoption of livestock health solutions including vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics for improved livelihood of resource constrained livestock producers in Africa and South Asia. As Post-doctoral fellow at the School of Public health, University of Toronto, Canada, Samuel worked in a multi-disciplinary teams developing research into the application of genetics to unraveling the causes of Venus Thrombosis and other diseases in humans. Samuel has skills in large data management, statistical analysis, project evaluation, capacity development and resource mobilisation
